I Support Animal and Human Rights in the US and Worldwide
While I always strive to remain optimistic, I am cognizant to the plight of people and animals locally and worldwide. I am blessed to be able to provide housing for people and make an income of helping people reach their dreams. With that income, I continually challenge myself to donate more, spread wealth, be a part of the exceptional positive shifts in this world. With that being said, I donate 10% of my income to the following charities, if you have a favorite please let me know.
Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue
My heart is with Brookline Lab Rescue, a PA/NJ based Labrador Retriever rescue. With my amazing rescue partners I have saved hundreds of labs introducing them to new families at all different stages of their life! The youngest was 9 weeks old and the oldest was 14! I pray for the proper gratitude for the privilege of being a part of the rescue of these animals.
My friend Augie and his wife Audrey are some of the most beautiful people I know. Not only have they taught thousands of real estate professionals (including me!) how to help many people in various housing situations but they are dedicated supporters of Chair the Love, a charity which provides the gift of mobility to people around the world. I encourage you to be a part of this by donating, or attending a mission trip to deliver the wheelchairs we collect. Water, so accessible, so easy....for us in the US. The goal of this mission is to get 1 billion people safe drinking water. It's a huge number but the world needs huge change. Please join me on the mission to provide safe and accessible water to humans around the globe.
My friend Michele and her husband Jeff run this incredible mission to help dogs that are in shelters and in need of rescue by providing love, medical care, and a home at the ends of their lives. Some have never known the security Monkey's House provides, we are so fortunate to have Earth Angels like Michele and Jeff in our midst!
Koala Hospital of Port MacQuarie
On the other side of the Earth there is a Koala Hospital that rescues these marsupials from fire, habitat destruction, and other threats to their existence. Their efforts are to rescue, rehabilitate, and release but some become permanent residents! One day I hope to have a visit to see the friends I support.
Over 4 million donkeys are slaughtered each year worldwide and, as a result, their population is rapidly shrinking in many countries. In the United States alone, over 160,000 horses are annually shipped for slaughter. Most of these beautiful animals are healthy, friendly and even well-trained. The process of shipping and slaughtering them is far from humane. The Farmette is a place of hope, healing, and happiness for donkeys, please help me help them in ways of donations and volunteer work.
